Wildlife photographer and seasoned traveler with more than a decade exploring some of the planet’s most remote regions, working on assignments for publications including National Geographic and leading wildlife tours across continents. After years on the road, he chose Costa Rica as his home, captivated by its biodiversity and wild spirit. His ongoing adventures and passion for conservation are also shared through a YouTube channel followed by over one million people.
Samah has spent years traveling the world as a digital nomad, collecting stories and experiences across continents. With a background in psychology, she brings a unique perspective to travel—combining her passion for people with her love for exploration. At Kayra, Samah focuses on creating meaningful connections, supporting our team, and ensuring every journey feels both personal and inspiring.
Born in the high mountains of Costa Rica, in the very lands of the resplendent quetzal, Wilberth grew up surrounded by birds and wilderness. His passion for nature led him to manage a biological reserve before joining Kayra. Today, he oversees operations—coordinating bookings, fine-tuning itineraries, and ensuring every trip runs seamlessly from start to finish.
Born and raised in the untouched jungles of Costa Rica’s Caribbean, Ashley grew up with a deep love for nature from an early age. Passionate about reptiles and amphibians, she has specialized in herpetology and worked in wildlife rescue centers as well as guiding travelers through the rainforest. At Kayra, Ashley blends her field expertise with her creativity as a content creator, bringing the magic of Costa Rica’s wildlife to life through reels and social media.
